Privacy information

A concise description of local app data and the external services you choose to use.

Overview

ThePrints3D is a public information site for an app that lets you draw a building to size and frame it in 3D.

This page describes the current app data practices reflected in the product source. It does not create a user account or offer server-side project storage.

Drawing and project data

Drawing files are processed on the device. When you save a project, the app can retain the files you selected, project details, model data, layers, and measurements in local device storage.

The app source does not include an endpoint for uploading drawings or saved projects to a ThePrints3D server.

Local records

The app can keep diagnostic records locally on the device. On Android, it can also keep a local cache of a Google Play purchase entitlement so access can be restored after relaunch.

You can remove local app data using the steps on the account and data deletion page.

External services

Google Play manages app distribution and any purchase or restore interaction made through Google Play. Its handling of that information is governed by Google's policies.

If you choose to open an external link from the app or this site, that destination operates under its own policies. Sending a support or privacy email shares the information in that message with the email service used to deliver it.

Android permissions

The Android app requests internet access for its app container and external links. It requests access to images only when you choose an image to import.
